My name is Rosie Maisonave, I have enjoyed sharing my work for the past 30 years with family and friends. I recently became a member of the Ridgefield Guild of Artist. The Guild has allowed me to be part of the 9th annual ARTWALK event in 2022. What an amazing community of art lovers!
As I do have a passion for art I am also a children's author, (Pen name: Rosie Munoz). I have published three books title: 'Annie's Curly Hair', 'A Pup Named Bear', and 'El Perrito Oso' (Spanish). Writing is quite a part of me and my work can be found on the Barnes and Noble website, www.bn.com. In the past I drew from life's experience...motherhood! I have shared my stories with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders. I also had the privilege of sharing with an amazing audience of children in Barnes and Noble and Borders book store in Rockefeller Center, New York. I am in the process of publishing my fourth book and look forward to sharing that with the public ...coming soon!
In the meantime, I continue looking and growing in new endeavors such as sculpting and abstract painting.

Ridgefield's downtown was buzzing with music, art, food, and family!
august 26 and 27 was the last summer weekend before school begins.
The laughter of children filled the air as parents were not only enjoying the warmth of the sun, which made for an amazing day, but the love of community as well!
